In March...

We had some California clouds. Makes nice lighting on the purple mountain majesties and amber waves of grain.

Oh, I taught a lot about Patriotism and the symbols of the US. I adore history (my second-choice major) and you can still go deep when teaching it to 5-year-olds. Civil rights, slavery, and free speech all come to surface in our discussions.

I woke up to a rainbow out my door the other day. I am sick of clouds and rain (I'm spoiled) but always appreciate the rainbows.

Making Coffee on Maui

My dad lives on a coffee farm.

I love the meditative practice of coffee-picking...pop those little kernels out.  The fruit actually tastes kinda good.   Throw them in a bucket of water, soak for days, then dry them in the sunshine.

Roast in a popcorn maker....and Voila!
